Meet The Team At Bee Bee Creative
Hello! We are Simon and Laura and together we run Bee Bee Creative. We met when simon decided to swipe right on Bumble. Our first date was at The Talbot, Biddulph, most of which was spent talking far too much about cameras. We fell in love, moving in together and got a puppy, who is appropriately named Pixel.
We’ve known for a while that we wanted to go into business together. Laura is a wedding photographer and has run her business for 10 years. Simon has worked for various video production companies and has worked for companies like Swan, Morphy Richards and has even filmed Fearne Cotton.
Laura loves anything botanical and has a growing collection of house plants. She loves them so much that she has even considered naming them. She REALLY loves mustard yellow, as you can probably tell. She has been crowned ‘Worlds Greatest Aunty’ by her ever growing clan of tiny nieces. She loves Grey’s Anatomy, vinyl, tattoos and a good cup of tea.
Laura has been a photographer for 10 years now and came to it almost by accident. She bought her first DSLR on eBay because she wanted to try something new and began photographing everything in sight. She very quickly fell in love with it and soon decided to see if she could turn it into a career.
Simon loves computer games, films and nerdy facts. He has an unbelievable memory and the ability to sing the theme tune from any TV show. He drinks a lot of coffee and loves a Stokie oatcake. He studied media production at university after spending a large chunk of his childhood making his own home videos, despite no one asking him to. He has a great imagination and loves being able to be creative.
We decided on Bee Bee Creative simply because both of our surnames begin with B! It was quite a process to come up with the name and we went through several options but landed on this one because we feel that it’s memorable without the danger of us hating it in 10 years time.
